28th Annual Chinese Auction – June 6th

The 28th Annual Chinese Auction will be held on June 6th. The doors open at 5:30PM. Initial admission tickets, which are $5, come with tickets to use to “bid” on a huge selection of items at the “auction”.

During the “auction” phase (Between 5:30PM-7PM) all items being “auctioned” are put on display with a can in front of each item. “Bidders” take their tickets and place them in the can that sits in front of the item that they choose. You can bid on as many items as you like, as additional tickets are available to purchase inside once you have purchased your initial admission tickets.

After all tickets are deposited, a winning ticket is randomly drawn from each can in front of the items. The person with the matching number that is drawn wins that item.

Additional specialty item tickets for higher value items are also available to purchase prior to the auction.

Hint: The more tickets you put in to a single can, the more likely you are to win that particular item.

In addition a cash raffle is also available. Cash prizes include $100, $200 and $500. The tickets for this are available now. See any Linfield Fire Company member to buy them, or stop by the firehouse any Monday night after 6:30PM!
